You will want to close up your kitchen on Thursday, June 5th. In fact, you may want to give it a much-needed rest throughout the entire month of June because Sorrento Grille, a Laguna Beach fine dining institution, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.What's the icing on the cake? David Wilhelm, owner of Sorrento Grille and long-time school supporter has chosen SchoolPower as the beneficiary of the month-long celebration.
To kick off the festivities, Mr. Wilhelm has teamed up with Surterre Properties and SchoolPower to host an anniversary celebration on Thursday, June 5th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests are asked to make a minimum donation of $35 per person that will go directly to SchoolPower. As a thank you, guests will be treated to a delicious display of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails throughout the evening. This is an invitation only event and space is limited.
After the kick off event on June 5th, please make sure to return on another night (or two, or three...) to sample the new Sorrento Grille summer menu. For the entire month of June, a portion of every dinner check will be given to SchoolPower, benefiting all Laguna Beach public school children. Mr. Wilhelm and his corporate chef have revamped some classics from the menu that will undoubtedly delight.
If this won't get you to lay down that sauce pan, nothing will.
